When the FIS Ski World Cup comes to St Anton on 9 and 10 January 2016, the Arlberg will be firmly in the grip of racing and party fever as the elite of women’s skiing competes in the legendary Arlberg-Kandahar event. The average gradient of the race is a sporty 24 percent, and pros can reach speeds of up to 130km/h! The race starts below the Kapall restaurant at 2,065m above sea level, and then the ‘Karl-Schranz-Piste’ leads down via Himmeleck and Eisfall to the World Cup Stadium.
